Where does the time go. 90 day update

It's  hard to believe I started this big adventure of mine three months ago. Living out of 4 panniers for 90 days and not knowing where you are going to lay your head at night has become taxing. I'm  glad I only have 4 more states to go.

So far I have ridden 4313 miles. I am currently in Buffalo NY at the Hostel Buffalo-Niagra (hostelbuffallo.com) a hostel located in the theater district.

I have camped 48 times, hotel/ motel/ flea bag 24 nights and stayed at churches or hostel 18 different times.  I have had 2 flat tires, one broken rear rim replaced the chain once and have also  replaced the original tires. I have ridden 73 day, and have taken 17 days off, 5 with Kathy in Colorado, 5 days waiting for a new wheel and 7 other random rest days.

I have traveled through 11 states, am currently in my twelfth, New York. I have all of upstate NY, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine left. The miles ahead will be as challenging as anything  that I have already ridden. With the  Adirondack, Green and White Mountains ahead of me I know I still have my work cut out for me. I look forward to it. If the hills of Colorado, Missouri, Kentucky and Ohio haven't stopped me these ahead of me shouldn't either.

I have enjoyed my rest  day here in Buffalo. Tomorrow is to be a slow scenic day along the Niagra River to Niagra Falls. One more day to be a tourist before I begin in earnest my final month on the road and the end of this grand adventure. Buffalo, although I'm not a city boy, has been a good resting point. City Hall is impressive along with the old homes and churches.
